KFC have a new falvour on their chicken again,
this time is combination of multiple spices, on top of their "hot and spicy" chicken.

Bad news for us is that the classic "hot and spicy" will be gone for some time, again.
Good news it that there is a new flavor.
Going to try that soon. Hope it will be good.

Actually the fan DO have fan-blade, but it is hidden below it,

New cinema at Penang

its been some time we update here...
Because lack of time .. :)

Anyway, news release not long ago stated that, there will be a new cinema in Penang,
It will be at Island Plaza at Tanjung Tokong (quite near to us :p )
Previously there are couple of cinema being open there but is closed down.
Now the new one is coming

W Cinemax, is going to open the new cinema at Island Plaza at 4th November.
There will be 3 hall there, and will be showing digital 2D and 3D movies.

On the other hand, another news state that there will be another new cinema in Penang. The launching date is not yet confirmed. The new cinema speculated to be TGV cinema, and will be located in "1 Avenue", the newly build shopping complex.

Movie: Vampire Sucks

Yeah! We have watched the movie. With so many vampire craze these years (twilight, new moon, vampire dairies, eclipse, breaking dawn), this is a new addition of vampire collections (with humor inside).

This is one really hilarious movie, with story based on twilight, and new moon. A lots of jokes inside, is totally funny to watch. And they did a good job finding really look-a-like actor and actress too.

If you like the movies such as “scary Movie 1” (to 4), “meet the Spartan”, etc, this is totally the movie for you.

Samsung Galaxy Pad

Do you feel lucky that you haven’t bought the iPad yet? Samsung have announced a new rival to iPad: Galaxy Pad. This is smaller than the iPad and with many advantages over iPad.

The Galaxy pad is running on Android OS, and it has phone capabilities. It have Android 2.2 loaded, support browsing, wifi, and other features, and have a 7 inch LCD. Price haven’t being announced yet, but is speculated around $200 to $400, which is cheaper than the iPad.

The Toy Watch is currently at a trend in our country. This is plastic quartz watch comes in many vibrant color. The color is bright and lively, which brings out the youthfulness of the watch. Miley Cyrus- Can't be Tamed

Music is a life, it brighten's up our day..

Miley Cyrus, one of Hollywood's well known and successful entertainer, was also an icon to most teenager throughout the world. She is only 18 years old (2010).
Miley is also remembered for her character, Hannah Montana that she had potrayed on tv many years as a sweet and innocent girl.

Of course, nothing can stay long as an artiste has to evolve and come up with something new. There you go, Miley has proven that she move in the right direction with her latest album, Can't Be Tamed.

In this album, the tracks came in with different theme but mostly on radio-friendly dance tracks such as Liberty Walk, Who Owns My Heart and Permanent December. As for ballads ( Forgiveness And Love and Take Me Along ) have a distinct '80s vibe and that's not simply due to her remake of Poison's 1988 hit Every Rose Has Its Thorn.

Movie: Sorcerer Apprentice

This is one very nice movie. This movie debut around July 2010, staring Nicholas Cage. This is a new concept we not see before, combining modern day world with ancient time magic. The story is about an ancient sorcerer quest finding his apprentice. His apprentice will be the successor of Merlin, and have the power to stop the evil sorcerer. Very nice acting by Nicholas cage, and many good magic scenes too. In the movie there are lots of special effect, some magic, some science, some laughter, and some romance. It’s good movie for everyone. One special scene to watch out for is the part where the sorcerer uses magic power to control the mop to clean the place, which turns out to be disaster. This is the scene inspired by Disney cartoon back in the 80s. Even the song is the same one. Talk about song, the main song for this movie is “Secret” by one-republic. This is very nice song, and the lyrics quite suit the movie. It is definitely one movie worth watching this season.

Good Protection For Infants

Infants are usually susceptible to bacterial infections as the immune system is still weak. KFC Snack Box (Tried)

Not long ago we have blog about the KFC Snack Box; and now we have it tried. The box looks pretty impressive, cute and funky. Inside we have fries and nuggets (or chicken cutlet depends on package). The one we order are with “hot & Spicy Nuggets” and with chicken cutlets. Overall the taste is nice. I like the hot and spicy nuggets, taste good! The chicken cutlet is not so nice; I wish KFC would have made it KFC style chicken cutlet. Overall, the amount is not less, suitable for a snack. This is worth to try if you haven’t tried it.

KFC Hot&Spicy Shrimp

KFC have new menu item again. This is “Hot and Spicy Shrimp”. In short its shrimp that have outside similar to their “hot and spicy” chicken. I think this will be good, but not yet tried out. Not have any official pictures yet on the website. I found out this menu item is actually available in Hawaii KFC too.. that’s cool. But this item is available in limited time only, from 3rd August to 30th September. Better try it before the promotion ends.

Movie: The Social Network (2010)

This is so cool we have to blog about it! A movie about facebook! Well this will be released in U.S. in October 2010, but we will blog about it first. Nothing much hints being given out by the trailer, just some dramatic music and talking, and some wordings. The movie tagline is “You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies”, which is quite cool too. The story will be based on Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of facebook. The producer is Columbia pictures, and the director is David Fincher. He is the dude that brings us some nice movies, some of my favourite was “se7en”, “Curious Case of Benjamin Button”

Movie: The Last Airbender

When we go for movie on earlier 2009, the trailer is always shown before every movie. When we go for movie at 2010, still the trailer is shown before every movie (yes, and it still written “coming in 2010”). This must be one hot movie, since the cinema showing the trailer before every movie. Not a person who watch the anime before, I curious about the movie already. The trailer is short, showing kids can put off many lighted candles, and many warships come for the kid. Pretty amazing graphic on the trailer.

And now, finally, the movie is here. On August 2010 in our country. Directed and written by Shymalan Knight, this is highly anticipated movie. Mr. Knight is also the director who brings us “the 6th sense”, one of my favorite movies in all time. Hope this movie can bring the same surprise as “the 6th sense”.

We will definitely going to catch the movie, and post the review soon. In the mean time, here is the trailer. Despite the negative review at imdb.com, we think this is going to be a hot movie.

India announce cheapest computer ever

This is cool. India, also place where the cheapest car is produce ( the Nano), is now announcing the cheapest computer. This is announced by the India government. The computer, named Sakhat looks just like the apple ipad, but is way more cheaper. Initial estimation cost is USD35, but according to them the price will be future reduced to USD20 when in mass production. The computer said to be produced in 2011. Not much photo now because the news was just out, but I feel its totally similar to the ipad. Not much news and specification on this computer yet. They said this is mainly for spreadsheet, word processing, web browsing, and simple task. This is cool, imagine having an "ipad" with the price of less than quarter of it.

Untold Secret: You Can't SMS the word "Congratulation"

This is so uncool! Do you know that DiGi not allowing you to send SMS containing the word “congratulation”? Yes this is true, after few dollar spent I found out about this. Its totally uncool that DiGi Malaysia doing this, but the coolest thing is we are the first blog to write about this.  And if you wondering, you cant send the word “C o n g r a t u l a t i o n s” too (even with space within). And although your SMS not send through, your SMS notification will said “Message Sent”!

How I found out? After my SMS not going through after many attempts, and I have break up my SMS into multiple SMS with one word each, and it stucks at the word “Congratulations”.

The workaround? Send different words, don’t put the word “congratulations” in your SMS. The other way you could always send using the word “恭喜你” in Chinese. Now that’s cool using Chinese!

Avril: Canon commercial

This is so cool! She is the punk princess! It’s been a while haven’t heard any new songs or saw any appearance from her. This is the first time I saw this commercial on TV, and my attention are quickly drawn to it. Little did I know, this is actually last year advertisement on Singapore. Hope canon will come out with more commercial featuring Avril Lavigne.

Here is the commercial. Actually featured in year 2009 but only shown in my country now. Notice the entry level DSLR she is holding is 500D while now Canon is heavily promoting their 550D.

Good News! KFC Hot-&-Spicy is back! It was a long wait till it is back, giving way to the black pepper flavour. And top of that, KFC is now introducing their “Snack Box”.

Not really a main course, but more like a snack. From their website it seems like there are 3 varieties of “snack box” available. What is interesting is they have introduced a new nugget: “Hot-&-Spicy nuggets”. I thinking this should have the same coating as their “Hot-&-Spicy” chicken too. StreetDance 3D

What's up everyone! Ready to get the party started and even rock the house down? Oh wait... Here's one thing everyone will have in mind... What will a party likely be without dancing and musics? =]

Well... everyone knows that dancing is like an art, is fun to watch and is cool!
Now, to those that have passion in dancing, no matter you are a dancer or not, here's a chance to catch this summer dance/romance movie in cinema, titled " StreetDance 3D". It was premiere in Malaysia cinema, effective 15th of July 2010.The concept for this dance movie is quite different compare to the dance movie titled "Step Up 2", which was shown in cinema two years back...

Basically, this movie is about a group of street dancer who has qualified for the finals of the UK Street Dance Championships. Everything changes when one of the member has decided to quit from the crew. Being one of the member, Carly ( Nichola Burley ) steps out to prove she can lead her members to victory. Lots of obstacle occur, Carly begins to doubt her leadership. Until she meets a ballet schoolmistress Helena ( Charlotte Rampling ), who strikes a deal with them. That is the street dancer that can practise in the Ballet Academy's dance studio in return for collaborating with her ballet dancers. Two very different style of dance, street dance and ballet, what will it ended be?
Only time will tell...

MacDonald GCB Tested

Yes, we have posted about GCB not long ago. And now we have tried it. Here are some photos. The box looks not bad. I like the design of the box, simple and nice.

Open up the box revealed the GCB. Measuring around 5 inches in length. Wrapped nicely like other burger from McDonald.

Overall, it’s a nice burger. The chicken inside is well grilled, and nicely marinated. Tender and juicy chicken meat. The source is very tasty. Overall, the taste is superb! The cons? The price is quite high, costing $9 for GCB in ala carte. This is even more expensive than the “Big Mac” ( $6.95 ala carte); and 3 times the price of Chicken Burger ( $3, ala carte).

Our verdict: Very nice chicken burger. They should name it “Great Chicken Burger”. Its by far the best burger we have taste in local MacDonald. Only thing is the price is quite high.

MacDonalds GCB

 

Yeah! This is definitely hot! New burger from MacDonald, and its called “Great Chicken Burger”. I definitely will try it out very soon. The best part is it is not beef. But sadly to see on the website (http://www.mcdonalds.com.my/) that it is “Limited Times Only”. Still it’s a nice move from MacDonald Malaysia.

Most of the items at MacDonald Malaysia are beef burgers. Now is great to see 1 more chicken item. Because me myself does not eat beef for religious reason, and there are another race (1/3 of our population) which does not take beef too. Hope this item will have a permenant place in the menu.

"I'm Lovin it!"

Sony alpha NEX-3

ILC (Interchangeable-lens compact camera), is not a new term. Many manufacturer have comes out with compact camera with interchangeable lens, example Panasonic and Samsung. But the newly launch NEX-3 Alpha sure is the talk of the town here. Recently launch by Sony, this is nice little camera with interchangeable lens.

What makes it special is the full APS-C sensor, with 14.3 Mega-pixel, and HD video capability. Well not really full HD, its 720p HD. This machine gives superb image quality with the size of compact camera. Plus it have nice appearance too, personally I love the red one. In our country it comes with 18-55 lens and also 16mm f/2.8 lens. With the capabilities matching DSLR, the price is not cheap too; costing RM2199 for the one with 18-55mm lens, near to price of an entry level DSLR. The lens choice is not much too, with the newly design “e-mount”.

This machine score pretty high score on color accuracy test and noise test, according to Popular Photography (August 2010 issue, pg. 69). It has overall rating of 4 and ½ stars out of 5 stars on PC Magazine (July 2010 issue, pg. 16).

Overall this is a camera for those who looking at superb image quality, with the size of compact camera. This is for those who wants manual control, interchangeable lens, yet have the portability of compact camera.

Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Among all the new movies in 2010, this should be one of the most anticipated one for fans all over the world. Just release recently at our country, this should be the top watch-list for all the fans. Yes I am talking about the twilight saga: Eclipse.

Launching few years ago, “Twilight” is based on the novel by Stephanie Myers. The first one does awe me, with vampire story in different way. The movie not only brings publicity for the original novel, but also makes the actors famous and admired by fans all over the world. The second installment, “Twilight: New Moon”, brings a whole new level to vampire and werewolves story.

Now, the “Twilight: Eclipse” is launched. We are going to catch the movie together soon. Wait for our feedback here.

DKNY be-delicious

If there were evergreen fragrance, I would say it should be DKNY Be-delicious. It is one of my favorite since few years back. Until now it still smell fresh and still my favorite fragrance. The apple citrus small is so refreshing and I never get bored of it. And who won’t love the round and cute bottle design.

If I not mistaken the below should be the original “Be-delicious”. The green (for “her”) and the brown (for “him”). They still the best in my opinion. Over the year there are many varieties being developed. Among the new one here are some that I can recall
